Let’s Play LA brings a modern spin to the classic game show experience, blending interactive entertainment, team-building, and DJ-style energy. Created by owner and founder of Hey Mister DJ, Let’s Play LA was born out of a passion for creating fun, engaging, and unforgettable events.

When the 2020 pandemic shut down live events almost overnight, Hey Mister DJ quickly pivoted to the virtual world. Leveraging years of MC, DJ, hosting and improv experience, the team became one of the leading sources for immersive online event entertainment. They discovered that virtual audiences required much more interaction than a typical DJ-driven party, which inspired the creation of custom games, trivia, and team-building challenges to keep participants engaged.

The success of these virtual game shows sparked something bigger. As in-person events returned, Lee and his team adapted their interactive formats for corporate events, company parties, and live audiences of all sizes. Today, Let’s Play LA specializes in game show entertainment for corporate events, team-building experiences, holiday parties, sales kickoffs, and brand activations—offering a high-energy alternative (or complement) to traditional DJs and live entertainment.

Not every great game show needs buzzers, big screens, or complicated setups. Our classic game show experiences can be run anywhere, without additional technology, making them perfect for corporate events, team-building activities, and private parties of all sizes.

Each game is led by our professional Game Masters, who are seasoned MCs with years of experience hosting live events and keeping audiences fully engaged. Supporting them are our expert DJs, known for their nightclub-level mixing skills, sharp crowd awareness, and ability to read the room.

With a live DJ in the mix, the energy stays high. We can drop in hilarious sound effects, fire up dramatic music cues, or even launch a spontaneous dance battle to break a tie. Want to keep the fun going? We can seamlessly add karaoke sessions or a dance party between rounds—or as the grand finale of your event.

Some of the games are triggered by our buzzers, but some also include an app that guests can access to play right from their phones.

Can you align games with company messaging?

Who hosts the show—DJ, MC, or both?
Both. Our DJ drives the energy and music while our MC or game show host facilitates gameplay, announcements, and smooth transitions.
Do you provide AV and production?
We can bring full AV: sound, mics, screens, lighting, and staging. We also integrate with in-house hotel AV or existing conference production teams.
